We are seeking a Lawyer/Associate (between 1-5 years’ PQE) to join our Brisbane Mining & Resources team specialising in commercial litigation.

The Role
We are seeking a talented and commercially minded Lawyer or Associate (between 1-5 years’ PQE) to join our Brisbane Mining & Resources team specialising in commercial litigation and primarily working alongside Rachel Hendrie.
This is an excellent chance for an ambitious lawyer looking to work on complex, high-profile litigation across a diverse range of industries.
You day will consist of the following:
- Advising clients on commercial disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations
- Developing litigation and dispute resolution strategies
- Assisting with advocacy, court proceedings, and trial preparation
- Handling document-intensive matters and evidence preparation
- Collaborating with and coordinating legal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Who We Are Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Between 1-5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable litigation team. Relevant in-house experience may be considered
- Experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, regulatory investigations, or related areas
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively on complex matters
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commercial mindset with a strong focus on achieving practical outcomes for clients
