High class tooling | Fully maintained vehicle The Role We are seeking an experienced Mobile Technician / Mechanical Fitter to join our team based in Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of fixed plant machinery, including shredders, hammer mills, shears, and crushing plants, along with associated conveyors and processing equipment.You will carry out fault finding, breakdown repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance outcomes within a heavy industrial environment.

Wellbeing support and regular employee celebrations What You’ll Be Doing Fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairing breakdowns on fixed plant equipment
Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on shredders, hammer mills, shears, crushing circuits, and conveyors
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems within processing plants
Inspecting and maintaining wear components such as hammers, blades, liners, and screens
Assisting with shutdowns, rebuilds, and major overhauls of plant equipment
Supporting installation, commissioning, and upgrades of fixed plant machinery
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures About You Proven experience as a Mobile, Mechanical Technician, Fitter, or HD Fitter in recycling, mining, quarrying, or heavy industry
Hands-on experience working with shredders, hammer mills, shears, crushing plants, or similar processing equipment
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical and hydraulic systems
Mechanical Trade Qualification
Current Australian driver’s licence
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Full working rights in Australia
