About The Role As the Modern Workplace Administrator , you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining our modern workplace environment, ensuring our people have secure, reliable and efficient technology to perform at their best.
Working as part of our IT Operations team, you'll support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID, manage end-user devices throughout their lifecycle, troubleshoot technical issues and help maintain a secure, well-managed workplace environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, delivering great customer service and working with modern Microsoft technologies.
In this role you will be responsible for
- Supporting and maintaining corporate workstations, laptops and end-user devices across the organisation and related entities.
- Administering Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and endpoint configuration, compliance and application deployment.
- Managing Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication methods, Conditional Access, enterprise applications, groups and role assignments.
- Supporting Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Managing endpoint provisioning,
lifecycle, patching, compliance and secure retirement.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and identity-related issues while maintaining high service levels.
- Implementing and improving security controls across the end-user computing workplace.
- Supporting customer-facing EUC services, including installations, troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Maintaining asset management, endpoint documentation and inventory records.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and technology partners to deliver reliable workplace technology solutions.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the organisation's Quality Management System.
About You You're a proactive IT professional who enjoys delivering outstanding end-user experiences and building modern, secure workplace environments. You're someone who enjoys helping people, solving technical problems and keeping workplace technology running smoothly. You're proactive, organised and enjoy working with Microsoft technologies while continually learning and improving your technical skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in a Modern Workplace, EUC Administrator, Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Practical experience administering Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Windows endpoints and maintaining Standard Operating Environments (SOEs).
- Experience implementing endpoint compliance, application deployment and patch management.
- Understanding of identity lifecycle, Conditional Access, authentication methods and role-based access control.
- Experience supporting SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Understanding of cyber security principles including least privilege, defence in depth and identity security.
- Experience working with ITIL service management practices.
- Experience using RMM platforms.
- Solid troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Competency in using AI tools responsibly and effectively to improve productivity, in accordance with Onyx's AI, Information Security and Privacy policies.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a VGCCC Gaming License and/or OLGR License. Some regional and Interstate travel may be necessary in this role.
