Motorhand

- Conduct activites in accordance with the Rig Manager, Client Representative Instructions and Wellsite Permit to Work Systems
- Personal safety and the safety of co-workers
- Perform activites carried out in accordance with the written instructions and operators well programme
- Safe operations of both manual and power rig handling tools and equipment
- Safe operation of hydraulic or manual catwallks
- Provide affective supervision of subordinates
- Preparation of downhole components such as completion Bottom Hole Assemblies, Toolstrings, Fishing tools and associated equipment
- Maintaining sufficient fuel levels on site and within each plant item
- Conduct servicing and general maintenance on all plant & associated equipment
- Reporting any maintenance of equipment, faults and or necessary repairs
- Providing the Driller/Rig Manager accurate and current vehicle and equipment inspections checklists
- Timely reporting of any safety hazards or concerns




- Participation in wellsite and rig hazard hunts
- Assistance in any other duties as requested by the Driller or Rig Manger
- Become familiar with Company Quality Management System
- Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance activities

Derrickhand

- Personal safety and the safety of co-workers
- Ensures that activities are conducted in accordance with corporate Permit to Work system
- Assist in the operation of machinery and equipment necessary to prepare for workover operations
- Assists in the operation of the fluid circulating system
- Interprets gauge readings showing status of weight indicator, pump strokes indicator, torque indicator, rotary revolutions, circulation system flow and others to control for optimum well servicing processes
- Assist in the monitoring of drilling fluid status and alarms to ensure within specifications
- Assists in the training of personnel workover activities
- Assists in annual/quarterly corporate and/or regulatory installation inspections
- Helps to ensure that equipment meets regulatory specifications and corporate requirements and customer parameters
- Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance activities
- Assists specialized contracts during wireline operations, coring and cementing as directed by the Driller
- Assists specialized contractors during well testing and temporary productions
- Accurately measures and monitors tubing string length
- Carries out other activities as assigned by Driller
- Become familiar with Company Quality Management System
