The Role

As a Senior Installation & Commissioning Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering premium Commercial AV integration projects from installation through to commissioning and final handover.

Working closely with Project Managers, Programmers and Clients, you'll ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standard while mentoring junior technicians where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Installation of commercial Audio Visual, Unified Communications and Workplace Technology systems
- Commissioning, testing and fault-finding of integrated AV systems
- Installation and configuration of displays, projectors, LED walls, DSPs, control systems and conferencing technologies
- Structured cabling, fibre installation, cable terminations and rack integration




- Building, dressing and testing equipment racks
- Reading technical drawings, system schematics and installation documentation
- Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
- Providing in office leadership, technical guidance and support to installation teams
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during commissioning and client handover
- Assisting with system optimisation and ensuring exceptional client outcomes

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience installing and commissioning Commercial Audio Visual systems (essential)
- Strong knowledge of commercial AV technologies including control systems, DSPs, video conferencing and networked AV
- Experience with structured cabling, fibre termination and rack building
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and project stakeholders
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

- AVIXA CTS / CTS-I Certification
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron, Cisco, Logitech, Poly or similar technologies
- Previous experience leading installation teams or supervising projects on-site
