About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers (DSWs) to join our team in Villawood, with occasional shifts available in Sydney City.
As a Disability Support Worker with RMC Care Australia, you will provide direct care and assistance to NDIS participants — supporting them to achieve their personal goals and maintain independence at home and in the community.
This is a casual position offering 8 hour shifts, across 3 to 4 days a week (including weekends).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support
- Safely operate hoists and other manual handling equipment
- Support clients to access community activities, appointments, and social outings
- Assist with meal preparation, household duties, and medication prompts
- Foster independence, dignity, and inclusion for every client
- Maintain accurate progress notes and uphold confidentiality at all times

About You
We’re looking for reliable, compassionate, and professional support workers who are confident working both independently and as part of a team.
You will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or community support
- Solid skills in hoist operation and manual handling
- Current driver’s licence and ability to drive a client van
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- National Police Check (current within 12 months)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Proof of full working rights in Australia
- COVID-19 vaccination (as per industry requirements)
