Water and Catchments - DEECA – Melbourne VIC

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Sector Transition, and will be responsible for project management.

The Project Manager, Sector Transition will have strong project management skills and be able to support the Senior Manager to prioritise work programs, working with multiple stakeholders to collect information and evidence and summarise into memos, presentations and reports for decision makers. It is preferable that the applicant understand the water sector and the roles of the 18 water corporations, 9 Catchment Management Authorities, the Victorian Environmental Water Holder and the Birrarung Council. The Project Manager will support the team in advising on options to improve the efficiency of the sector and overall performance against key criteria.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

- Tertiary or other recognised qualifications inCommerce, Business, Law, Science or Engineering.
- Experience in developing and preparing documents for both internal and public distribution.
- Experience in working as part of a team that carries out diverse and varied business activities.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
