Join the dynamic warehouse team at Remington Steel as a full-time Storesperson. Based in Derrimut Victoria. This hands-on role will see you be part of an operational team that will be supportive, driving customer service across Victoria

What you'll be doing

- Receiving, picking, and packing goods that require manual strapping and packing.
- Dispatching of orders, which includes loading trucks.
- Liaising effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and products
- Sort, organise, and store materials and products in designated areas according to established procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting stocktakes and cycle counts as required.
- Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and loading goods
- Manage all associated paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and improve efficiency.
- General Housekeeping when required.

What we're looking for





- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Dedicated approach to customer requirements and overall service delivery.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Operational experience in Steel
- Operation of industrial trucks, forklift licence and experience with overhead cranes, moving industrial materials at varying heights.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Good communication and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work together to achieve our desired business outcomes.
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
