Hall Chadwick is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team.

This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys managing client assignments, supervising junior staff and delivering high-quality business services work from planning through to completion.

About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be the key point of contact on business services assignments, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and in line with client, budget and deadline expectations.

Key responsibilities

- Manage business services assignments from planning to completion.
- Prepare and review work papers, financial reports, tax matters and client correspondence.
- Supervise, train and delegate work to junior and intermediate team members.
- Monitor workflow, budgets, deadlines and assignment progress.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value.
- Keep managers and partners informed of progress, issues and budget variances.

About you





- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting, tax and reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing or reviewing financial reports and business services work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently and support junior staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant accounting software.
- CA/CPA studies completed or underway will be highly regarded.
