WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant, on part-time flexible hours (between 12 - 20 hours per week), school-friendly hours, to be part of our small but busy Finance department working at our head office in Keysborough.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CFO, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly accounts and general ledger reconciliations
- Producing financial reports and variance analysis
- Back-up to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and purchasing
- Other ad hoc duties as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least three years' accounting or finance experience
- Robust understanding of month-end accounting, journals and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
This is a flexible, part-time position of approximately 12-20 hours per week, working solely at our office, with school-friendly hours.
