Anmel Cherrypicker Hire is seeking a reliable and skilled EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Operator to join our family owned and operated business for an immediate start. The position is a full-time casual position due to the nature of the work that can includes night and weekend shifts, but a full-time position may be available for the right applicant. Our depot is in Beerwah, but we service clients for short term projects all across the Southeast Queensland Coast. Making every day different with changing clients, settings and tasks.

As an EWP Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and manoeuvring truck mounted elevated work platforms to fulfil the needs of the clients to the best of our ability.

Key responsibilities

- Transporting and operating EWP's safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer specifications, relevant safety legislation and client needs.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks on EWP equipment to ensure all machinery is in safe working order
- Liaise with clients and fulfil administration tasks such as invoicing and inductions.
- Site inspections
- Workshop duties such as cleaning, servicing, administration tasks, etc.

What we're looking for

- Current and valid High Risk Work Licence (EWP)
- MR drivers licence (HR preferred)
- Working in Construction Card
- Safe Working at Heights and Chainsaw experience an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience operating elevated work platforms in arboriculture and construction environments an advantage.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at height and plant operation




- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively independently and with our clients
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work, with a strong commitment to safety
- Physical fitness and ability to perform the demands of the role, including climbing, balancing and working in various weather conditions
