Job Description

The Seaview Tavern - 4 Boy (NSW) PTY LTD We are looking for a full time Cook with at least 2 years’ experience to join our team. The successful applicant is expected to join our large team to facilitate food service in a fast-paced high volume Hotel restaurant in Woolgoolga. Overview

- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Stock taking and ordering food supplies.
- Assisting the Head Chef with their daily tasks.
- Supervising & training other kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Liaising with Head Chef and FOH staff to ensure food preparation & meal services run smoothly.




- Oversee meals as they are prepared to ensure appropriate quality standards.
- Comply with nutrition, hygiene and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.

Requirements

- Proven cooking experience.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices.

This full-time position will play a key role within our team in assisting the growth, consistency of product and exciting evolution of our venue.
