Your Team

As a member of the ASX test team, you will work closely with Developers, Support Analysts, Business Analysts, Test Engineers, Automation Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers and Business Stakeholders to review and clarify requirements, strengthen testability, plan and execute testing, manage defects, report progress and escalate risks and issues to the Test Manager.

Your responsibilities

- Analyzebusiness, functional and technical requirements to ensure completeness,qualityand testability.
- Design,reviewand execute test cases, testscenariosand test suites.
- Performfunctional,



system integration, end-to-end, regression, parallel, operationalreadinessand production verification testing.
- Validate trading workflows, ordermanagementand market data processing across applicable interfaces and protocols.
- Prepare and manage test data, environmentdependenciesandexecutionreadiness activities.
- Identify, investigate, document and track defectsthrough toresolution.
- Provide test execution reporting, qualitymetricsand release evidence.
- Collaborate with Automation Engineers to increase regression coverage and improve testing efficiency.
- Participate in risk assessments, test planning,estimationsand release readiness reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QE&T; Community of Practice.
- Learn and use of automation tools which are provided by external vendors.
- Improve productivity by using employer approved AI tools in test engineering

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

- 5-8years’ experiencein software testing within medium to large technology environments.
- Strong experience infunctional, integration,regressionand end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Cloud Jira,Confluenceanddefectlifecycle management.
- Knowledge of test planning, estimation,executionand reporting.
- Ability toanalysesrequirements andidentifytest conditions and risks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps delivery models as well as waterfall model.




- Experience or understanding of testing message protocols such as FIX (Financial Information Exchange) or API Testing with Postman or SoapUI that resembles the core concepts.
- Experience in using SQL and reconciliation of large data sets
- Understanding of Linux Operating System and JAVA and ability to use basic Linux commands

Nice to have

- Experience in financial markets,exchangesor trading platforms.
- Knowledge of FIX, ITCH,OUCHor related market protocols.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Performance,resilienceor operational readiness testing experience.
- Experience or knowledge of Kafka and AVRO messages
- Experience or knowledge of testing data platforms and integrations
- Experience of using AI in test engineering
