Electrical apprentice / Roofer / Installer | Solar Industry - Immediate Start

Sunvoltz is a growing solar and electrical company specialising in high-quality solar installations, battery systems, EV chargers, and switchboard upgrades across residential and commercial projects.

We deliver projects across Melbourne and Greater Melbourne, with occasional work in regional Victoria—offering exposure to a wide range of sites, systems, and real-world experience.

About the opportunity

We are looking for anexperienced Electrical Apprentice (2nd, 3rd or 4th Year)to join our growing team for an immediate start.

We are also interested in hearing fromexperienced roofers or solar installers who are looking to transition into an electrical apprenticeship and build a long-term career in the electrical and renewable energy industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of residential and commercial projects while expanding your skills in modern electrical and renewable energy systems.

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or a suitable work visa.

About the role

- Work alongside an A-grade electrician

- Assist with solar panel installations (residential & commercial)

- Support battery system installations

- Carry out switchboard upgrades and circuit work

- General site work including cable runs, mounting, and setup

- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment





What we’re looking for

Essential

- Currently completing a2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship,OR

- Extensive roofing or solar installation experience with a genuine interest in commencing an electrical apprenticeship

- Current Driver's Licence

- Comfortable working at heights

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Reliable, punctual and motivated

- Ability to work well within a team

- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

- Valid Australian work rights

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience installing residential or commercial solar systems

- Battery installation experience

- Roofing experience

- Electrical labouring experience

- Construction or trade background

- Working at Heights certification
