Maybe you've been on the tools for five or ten years. You're ready for more responsibility, more ownership and the chance to lead a team but you don't want to spend your days sitting in a site office or off the tools completely.

That's exactly why we created this role. We're looking for an experienced electrician who enjoys leading a crew but doesn't want to spend years on the same construction site or off the tools. This is a working Leading Hand role combining short-project leadership with varied service and maintenance work. Our projects generally run from one day to around four weeks, so you'll keep moving, solving problems and seeing jobs through to completion.

When leading a project, you'll supervise a small crew of two to four electricians, apprentices and trade assistants. You'll remain on the tools while coordinating labour, materials, subcontractors, client communication and the day-to-day delivery of the job.

When a project wraps up, you'll jump back into diverse service and maintenance work like fault finding, troubleshooting and helping commercial clients before leading the next project.

Your work will include:

- EV charging projects for pubs, clubs, commercial fleets and apartment buildings - from individual chargers through to complete backbone infrastructure




- Small commercial and high-end residential renovations and upgrades (office fit outs and refurbishments)
- Commercial and residential service, maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Lighting, power and switchboard upgrades

What We're Looking For

- NSW Licensed Electrician
- Five or more years of post-trade experience
- Previous experience leading small teams or coordinating project delivery
- Ability to read plans, organise work and communicate confidently with clients and the team
- Experience across electrical service, maintenance and project work
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Love of the trade, real passion for electrical
- A proactive attitude and genuine pride in producing quality work
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and White Card

Bonus Skills

- EV charging installation or infrastructure experience
- simPRO or similar job-management system experience
- EWP Licence, Working at Heights, First Aid or Working With Children Check
