Quality Support Facilitator (Aboriginal Identified), Quality Support Program - full time or part time position

The Role

The Quality Support Facilitator (Aboriginal Identified) - Quality Support Program (QSP) works with children's education and care services across New South Wales to strengthen quality practice and improve outcomes for children. Through culturally safe professional learning, coaching and tailored support, you will partner with services, communities and colleagues to build capability, support compliance with the National Law and National Regulations, and strengthen practice aligned with the National Quality Standard. The role also contributes to the development of culturally responsive resources and supports services in their continuous improvement journey within the National Quality Framework.

The role (Full-time or Part-time) and fixed-term (until Wednesday 30 June 2027) at ACECQA Band 5 ($106,584 - $126,066).

About You

This is an identified position,



and applicants must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person (as defined under the Racial Discrimination Act 1975).

You will also need to have demonstrated experience in and contemporary knowledge of culturally safe professional learning and support approaches within education and care, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services.

You will bring:

- Experience supporting culturally safe practice uplift and professional learning in children's education and care settings, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and quality improvement practices in early childhood education and care.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and deliver culturally safe training and resources.
- Experience developing collaborative partnerships and influencing positive outcomes.
- Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
- A relevant qualification in early childhood education, education, adult learning, or equivalent industry experience.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including to regional and remote communities.

While not essential, the following attributes will greatly assist you in the role:

- Experience working with multiple service types including, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander services, early childhood settings (long day care and preschools/kindergartens), family day care and outside school hours care settings.
- Qualifications, training and/or experience in mentoring/coaching practices.

In this role, you will:

- Build strong relationships with service providers, community stakeholders and government partners.
- Support the delivery of program objectives through site visits, workshops, coaching sessions, webinars and communities of practice.
- Develop and deliver engaging, culturally appropriate learning resources and training materials.




- Contribute to project deliverables, reports, briefs and stakeholder updates.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and records.
- Collaborate across ACECQA to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, respect and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Travel regularly, including to rural and remote communities.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Supporting the delivery of project outcomes, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Contributing to the development of engaging, strengths-based and culturally appropriate training materials, including webinars, workshops, communities of practice and other learning resources.
- Coordinate and facilitate site visits, workshops, coaching calls, webinars and communities of practice in line with program objectives and schedules.
- Working collaboratively across ACECQA to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Assisting with the preparation of briefs, reports, advice and responses to information requests and updates.
- Maintaining accurate program documentation and records in line with ACECQA policies, procedures and stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrating professionalism and ethical conduct in accordance with ACECQA's values of Integrity, Commitment, Respect and Collaboration.
- Actively building, sharing and applying knowledge and skills to support continuous improvement.
- Undertaking other duties as required, including travel to rural and remote communities.
