The Hills Shire Council is seeking highly motivated and customer-orientated individuals, who will work cohesively, on a “as-and-when-needed” basis, as part of a multi-skilled Events team as Casual Events Officers. The successful candidates will enjoy interacting with community members and working at events. Event Officers play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for the community,

What this role looks like:
- Support Councils Events in the delivery of major events, functions, ceremonies, and event related activities.
- Implement risk management plans and ensure event schedules are prepared in accordance with procedures.
- Provide high level of customer service, assist patrons and visitors and conduct back of house duties.
- Attend Hills Shire managed events within and outside normal working hours.
What we are seeking in our recent team member:
- Knowledge of contemporary trends and best practice in event management.
- Responsible service of Alcohol qualification and competency card is desirable.
- A valid Working with Children Check.

A salary of $43.08 per hour (including causal loading and excluding superannuation), paid weekly. Opportunities for training to keep your skills up to date.
