We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional food to our loyal customers.

About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Cook with solid hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. The role will involve:

Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard across breakfast, lunch, and cafe service

Assisting with seasonal menu planning and daily specials in line with the cafe's style and customer expectations

Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with relevant regulations

Assisting with stock control, food ordering, and minimising kitchen waste

Supporting the supervision and day-to-day guidance of kitchen staff as required





Examining and selecting food ingredients to ensure quality and freshness

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar cafe, restaurant, or dining environment

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced kitchen environment

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary
Annual salary: $79,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
