Plastics manufacturing seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Store Person to join our team on a full-time basis. Based at our facility in Derrimut, VIC 3026, this role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring that materials are stored and retrieved efficiently to support our customers and internal operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our warehouse runs effectively and that all stock is managed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

- Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming goods to verify quantity and quality against delivery documentation
- Accurately recording stock information into the warehouse management system and maintaining up-to-date inventory records
- Organising and storing materials in designated locations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures
- Pack orders neatly, and an organised manner to ensure they meet our customers' expectation.
- Locating, picking, and packing items for dispatch to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (where certified) and other mechanical handling equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse facility, including aisles, storage areas, and work zones
- Following all health, safety,



and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Communicating effectively with other team members and management to resolve issues and improve warehouse operations
- Supporting ad hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth warehouse function

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar storage workplace
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and lift items regularly throughout your shift
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (desirable)
- A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic
- Basic numeracy skills for recording inventory and stock management
