Proway is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join our field maintenance service team PROWAY MAINTENANCE SERVICES. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of plant and equipment to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. This role involves working across various sites and requires a solid commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mobile plant and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and implement effective repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and condition assessments of equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and provide timely field service support to minimise operational downtime.
- Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports, and work orders.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with customers and site personnel to schedule maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a clean and operational condition.
- Assist with equipment commissioning, installations, and modifications as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations.
- Some overnight travel and stays will be required as part of this role across the country as we expand our services offer to customers.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter on preventive maintenance programs.




- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
- Experience working in agriculture would be an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Proficiency in completing maintenance documentation and reports.

Qualifications and Licences

- Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent.
- Current driver's licence.
- Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets are advantageous.
- Relevant industry certifications and site inductions are desirable.
