We are seeking an exceptional Operations Manager to become the organisational heart of our Academy. Working closely with our Creative Director, this pivotal leadership role will oversee the day-to-day operations that keep GDA running smoothly, allowing our teaching team to focus on what they do best: inspiring and developing young people.

This is far more than an administration role. It is an opportunity to lead systems, people, processes and communications within a vibrant and purpose-driven performing arts environment.

About the role:

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and effective day-to-day operation of Genesis Dance Academy. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will oversee administration, finance, payroll coordination, enrolments, timetabling, communications, compliance, staffing support and customer service.

You will be the central hub connecting students, families, teachers, volunteers and College support teams, ensuring exceptional experiences, efficient systems and high operational standards across all aspects of the Academy.

This is a 4 day per week, 8am - 4pm, position based on the Genesis Christian College campus. The role involves attendance outside of normal work hours for a selection of College events which is compensated for through time-off-in-lieu (TOIL).

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Finance administration, purchasing, invoicing and reconciliations
- Staff rostering, timesheets and payroll coordination
- Student enrolments,



class allocations and database management
- Parent, student and teacher communications
- Timetabling, room bookings and operational logistics
- Volunteer coordination and compliance management
- Staff onboarding, training and policy administration
- Teacher support, class preparation and attendance systems
- Continuous improvement of systems, processes and customer experience
