Falvey Hotels is looking for casual chefs or experienced cooks who are able to go between our venues, Falvey's Hotel Yamanto & Falvey's Sundowner Saloon to join our friendly and hardworking kitchen team/s.
About Us
Falvey Hotels is an independently owned and operated Hotel Group with six venues across Ipswich, the Lockyer Valley, and Toowoomba. We focus on quality food, strong systems, and supporting our people to grow.
The Role
You’ll work alongside experienced chefs in a supportive workplace, helping with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Depending on your experience, duties may include:
- Food preparation and service
- Assisting with daily kitchen operations
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Learning new skills and developing your career in hospitality
Availability
We’re looking for team members who can be flexible and available for a mix of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Transport
Own reliable transport is preferred, as some shifts may fall outside public transport hours.
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team and follow direction
- Pride in your work and attention to detail
- Previous kitchen experience is great, but not essential for all roles
- Relevant qualifications (such as Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Food Safety)
