Take It Ezy Meat Co. is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Murwillumbah, NSW, this role is essential to our operations as you will be responsible for delivering premium meat products to our valued customers throughout the region. This is an on-site position where you'll be the face of our company, ensuring that our products arrive safely, on time and in perfect condition. The role offers flexibility through casual work arrangements, allowing you to manage your schedule whilst contributing to our continued success in the wholesale meat industry.

What you'll be doing

- As a Meat Delivery Driver your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Operating a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently whilst adhering to all road transport regulations and company safety policies
- Loading and unloading meat products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and temperature control throughout transit
- Delivering meat products to customers within scheduled timeframes and designated routes
- Maintaining accurate delivery records, including signatures, delivery confirmations and any customer notes or special requests
- Inspecting the delivery vehicle before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service, answering enquiries and resolving any delivery-related concerns professionally
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, particularly regarding temperature-controlled transport requirements
- Communicating effectively with the butchers and management team regarding deliveries, delays or issues
- Maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times

What we're looking for

- To be successful in this Meat Delivery Driver role, you will need:




- Solid knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
- Experience handling temperature-controlled or refrigerated goods and understanding food safety protocols
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Professional customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Physical fit and capable to lift, load and unload heavy items
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules
- A clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong communication with the team
- Preferred experience includes previous experience in the meat or butchery industry, knowledge of the local area, and familiarity with route planning systems or GPS technology.
