Lead civil infrastructure projects, manage contracts, mentor teams, and deliver outstanding community outcomes Your new organisation An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team delivering a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects.

This role will suit a proactive construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and has a solid background in contract management, contractor performance, project delivery, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your new role

- Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure and construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Manage complex construction contracts and contractor performance.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and staff.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, budget, program, quality, and safety requirements.
- Engage and negotiate with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project risks, variations, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and review reports, project documentation, and performance metrics.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:





- Extensive experience managing civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Advanced contract management and contract administration expertise.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring staff.
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
