We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our small, dynamic team in Notting Hill, VIC. In this key role, you will drive revenue growth by expanding our customer base, developing new business opportunities in the Australian construction and manufacturing sectors, and strengthening relationships with international suppliers and local clients. In this key role, you will drive revenue growth by expanding our customer base, developing new business opportunities in the Australian construction and manufacturing sectors, and strengthening relationships with international suppliers and local clients. As the company continues to grow rapidly, you will play a pivotal role in taking our polyurethane foam products and building materials to the next level in the Australian market.

What You'll Be Doing

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction, insulation, furniture, packaging, and manufacturing industries

- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue from polyurethane foam products and imported/exported building materials





- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, architects, contractors, distributors, and specifiers across Australia

- Manage international supplier relationships (particularly in Asia-Pacific and China) and support import/export coordination

- Conduct market research, analyse competitor activities, and identify emerging trends and opportunities

- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals

- Work closely with the CEO to shape and execute the company's future strategic direction and development plans.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in building materials, construction products, furniture, mattresses, chemicals, or manufacturing

- Experience dealing with international suppliers and import/export business is highly advantageous

- Excellent written and spoken Mandarin Chinese (普通话) is essential – you will regularly communicate with suppliers and partners in China and the Asia-Pacific region

- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a small, fast-growing team

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel within Victoria and interstate
