Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 a year With over 20 years of local experience across three Queensland locations, CQ Diesel Fitting offers a full range of services, focusing on diagnostics, electrical, fleet servicing and diesel maintenance. CQ Diesel Fitting services mobile equipment and fixed plant for the mining, construction, transport and process industries.
Responsibilities
- General servicing and maintenance of vehicles
- Carry out all repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Document work completed on each repair order to ensure accurate information transfer
- Rectification of different types of diesel vehicle mechanical, electrical, electronic systems after accident repair
- Rebuilding/Replacement of Diesel Engines, Transmissions and Fuel Systems
- Remove,
replace and refit associated electrical and electronic systems
- Diagnose and service mechanical faults
- Demonstrating and maintaining clean workshop practices in your day to day role and ensuring that these practices meet the high standards held by the workshop team
- Maintain safe working conditions and practices
- Work efficiently and accurately and in line with company policy and procedure
Skills and Experience
- Certificate III in Diesel Mechanic or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Diagnostic experience
- Ability to show a high level of skills in following manufacturers guidance ensuring quality workmanship
- Have a robust adherence to OH&S; and in keeping as safe work place
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as required
