Reporting into our commercial leadership team and working closely with Project Managers and operational stakeholders, you'll play a key role in managing commercial performance across active Civil & Mining projects. This position is ideal for an experienced Contracts Administrator ready to step into a more senior role with greater commercial influence and future leadership opportunities. What You'll Be Doing Managing contract administration across multiple civil and mining projects
Reviewing contract terms and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
Preparing, negotiating and administering variations and claims
Managing contract correspondence, notices and formal communications
Supporting Project Managers with commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control
Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims
Maintaining contract compliance registers and contractual records
Monitoring project KPIs and reporting on commercial performance
Working with finance, legal and operational teams to resolve commercial matters
Supporting subcontract administration and procurement activities What We're Looking For 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration or Commercial Management
Background within civil construction, mining or related infrastructure projects
Proven experience managing variations, claims and contract correspondence
Strong understanding of Australian construction and mining contracts
Experience partnering closely with Project Managers in live project environments
Commercial acumen with strong cost analysis and risk management capability
Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
Relevant qualification in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar highly regarded Why Join MLG? Attractive salary
