As we continue to grow our Data & AI practice, we're looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who is excited by modern data platforms, cloud technologies and the opportunity to shape the future of data for some of Australia's leading organisations.

The Prospect

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our clients to design, build and deliver modern, scalable data platforms that enable better decision-making and unlock business value.





You'll be involved across the full delivery lifecycle—from understanding business requirements through to architecture, engineering, testing and deployment. This is a consulting role where you'll collaborate with client teams, influence technical decisions and deliver solutions that make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

- Designing and building scalable data platforms and data pipelines
- Developing modern ELT/ETL solutions using cloud-native technologies
- Building reliable and efficient data transformation pipelines
- Working with structured and unstructured data across enterprise environments
- Collaborating with architects, software engineers, analysts and business stakeholders
- Applying modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation and infrastructure as code where appropriate
- Contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring other engineers

What we're looking for We're interested in engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and are passionate about building modern data solutions.

You'll ideally bring experience in several of the following:

- Designing and delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions
- Building modern data platforms on AWS or Azure
- Strong experience with Databricks ecosystem including Apache Spark and SQL
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift or similar




- Python development for data engineering workloads
- Data modelling, data integration and large-scale data transformation
- ELT/ETL frameworks and orchestration tools
- Modern data tooling such as dbt, Apache Kafka or similar technologies
- Experience working with Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures or enterprise data warehouses
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders
