Our client is a well-established boutique Accountancy firm located on the Northern Beaches. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a small and professional team, providing accounting and taxation services to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing tax returns (ITR, CTR, PTR, TTR, SMSF) prepared by Accountants.
- Ensuring compliance with ATO requirements and updates to tax legislation
- Providing tax planning advice
- Liaising with ATO and other relevant bodies on behalf of clients
- Degree in Accounting (Tax)
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
- Min 2 years’ experience in public practice or corporate tax
- Strong working knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks)
