Join the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Mental Health Service as a Registered Nurse. Multiple positions are available across our Adult Mental Health Unit, offering the chance to work in diverse and rewarding clinical settings while supporting consumers on their recovery journey.

What you'll be doing

To provide nursing services as a member of a multi-disciplinary community mental health team which offers triage, assessment, treatment, ongoing case management and discharge planning services to individuals in Northern Sydney Local Health Districts.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

- Demonstrated clinical experience and skills in mental health assessment, including suicide risk assessment, formulation, safety planning and risk management within acute mental health settings.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-centred care.
- Highly developed communication, therapeutic engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
