You will join an exciting new tungsten exploration project in Queensland, supporting the early stages of a developing mineral operation. We are seeking multiple Senior Field Technicians to join a newly established team, providing experienced field support across a remote exploration site located approximately 330km from Cairns. This is a unique prospect to contribute to a project from the ground up and play a key role in advancing a future-focused critical minerals asset.

This is a 3-month contract opportunity with immediate starts available across multiple positions. You will work within a remote site environment on a 15:6 or 15:13 roster, supporting accurate field activities including sampling, data collection, quality control, and day-to-day exploration operations. Camp accommodation and site facilities will be provided, with travel arrangements available upon application.

You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the exploration program, working closely with geologists, drill crews, and site teams to collect high-quality data and maintain strong safety, environmental, and operational standards. Your contribution will help support the ongoing evaluation and development of this emerging tungsten project.

Key Responsibilities

- Support exploration programs through sampling and field data collection
- Coordinate sample handling, tracking, and quality control processes
- Assist with RC and diamond drilling program requirements
- Maintain accurate field records, reporting, and documentation




- Provide guidance and support to field team members where required
- Ensure compliance with site safety and operational procedures

About you

- Proven background in field-based mining or exploration roles
- Strong capability in exploration sampling, field support, or drilling programs
- Ability to work autonomously in remote site environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality control
- Effective communicator who works well within multidisciplinary teams
- Manual driver’s licence and ability to pass medical and D&A; requirements
