Reporting to a highly regarded Financial Controller, you will take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting, reporting and analysis responsibilities while gaining valuable exposure to the operations of a listed, international technology company.

Importantly, this is more than a traditional financial accounting position. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, develop a strong understanding of the organisation's products and commercial drivers, and play an active role in improving the quality, efficiency and insight delivered by the finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage the month-end close process, with full balance sheet responsibility
- Prepare and review financial reporting in accordance with company policies and AASB/IFRS requirements
- Manage and mentor one direct report, providing ongoing support, development and guidance
- Perform detailed revenue reporting and analysis, identifying trends and providing meaningful insights




- Undertake cost reporting and analysis across key areas of the business
- Prepare monthly cash flow reporting and analysis
- Manage the fixed asset register and associated accounting, including consideration of key intangible asset accounting matters
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, systems and processes
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the quality and efficiency of financial information
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate requirements across half-year and year-end reporting
- Assist with corporate tax and compliance requirements including income tax returns, R&D;, FBT and BAS
- Develop a strong understanding of the organisation's products, customers and key business drivers to support continued growth
- Contribute to broader finance initiatives and projects as the organisation continues to evolve

About You

You will be a driven and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with analysis and business engagement. Ideally, you will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong technical financial accounting and reporting experience
- Sound knowledge of AASB/IFRS




- Advanced Excel skills and a data-driven approach to reporting and analysis
- Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to understand the bigger commercial picture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and challenging existing ways of working
- The ability to operate effectively within a rapid-paced, evolving environment

Previous experience within Big 4 or a leading chartered accounting firm will be highly regarded, particularly where this has been complemented by commercial experience.
