About the Client:
Our client is a growing organisation seeking to strengthen its FP&A; and commercial finance capability as it enters the next phase of expansion. As the lead FP&A; person you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, challenge performance and support sustainable business growth.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, this Senior FP&A; Manager position will lead the organisation's financial planning and analysis capability. This is a highly commercial, hands-on role where you will own the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes while developing sophisticated three-way financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Working closely with the Exec team, you will translate operational drivers into meaningful financial insights, challenge assumptions, develop robust scenario modelling and provide commercial recommendations that influence the future direction of the business.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Developing and maintaining integrated three-way financial models.
- Delivering insightful management reporting and performance analysis.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and commercial decision-making.
- Preparing business cases, investment analysis and scenario modelling.
- Supporting capital allocation, growth initiatives and investment decisions.
- Driving continuous improvement across reporting, systems and FP&A; processes.
- Providing clear commercial insights to support executive and investor reporting.
About You: You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys influencing strategic decisions and partnering with senior stakeholders. You are equally comfortable building sophisticated financial models as you are presenting commercial insights to executive leaders.
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Circa 8 years' experience within FP&A; or related roles
- Previous experience as an FP&A; Manager is preferred or Investment Banking or Corporate Finance candidates looking to transition into a commercial environment will also be considered.
- Advanced financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering experience.
- Experience within founder-led, private equity-backed, other high-performance commercial environments will be highly regarded.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes.
