Our state government client is hiring Full Stack Developer/Web developer (Node.js, Java & AWS). Ideal candidate must have experience creating Technical Detailed Designs and provide inputs into the Application Architecture as required. Assess viability of designs and propose alternative approaches with due diligence around security, performance, reuse. Provide hands on code development for common utilities and complex functions.

Key knowledge and experience

- Experience in and in-depth knowledge of management of applications, databases (SQL/NO SQL) and infrastructure. Robust application development experience using front end technologies such as Javascript, Typescript, backend such as node.js, Java Springboot framework, DB communications and build connectors.
- Demonstrated capability in designing, building, maintaining, migrating, tuning, administering, supporting, and solving problems in complex applications delivery and production environments.
- Experience supporting delivery of digital products, applications or platforms in a complex multi-team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate application delivery readiness across business, technical, testing, vendor, release and operational teams.
- In-depth experience of software lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, development, testing, release, deployment, hypercare and BAU transition.
- Experience working with vendors, implementation partners,



internal delivery teams and operational support teams to resolve delivery and readiness issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear readiness summaries, action logs, dependency trackers and stakeholder updates.
- Strong technical expertise across digital applications, APIs, integrations, cloud environments, CI/CD, testing and operational support, without performing a developer or architect role.

The Role

Use Web development technologies such as HTML, Perl, JavaScript, and CSS. Perform various coding and programming tasks, such as design or development of Web front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and Web/Internet services. May involve coding and integration of text, graphics, sound, and/or video.

Career-Level position within field. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Conducts complex work important to the organization. Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Typically requires 6-9 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

- Day Rate: Up to $1115 Super
- ASAP start to 31/12/2026 with possible extension
