Trading platforms are where latency stops being an abstraction. A price feed that lags by 200 milliseconds isn't a performance ticket; it's a trader watching the market move without them. This role sits at the heart of a platform serving crypto, CFD, and FX markets, where real-time data, execution speed, and reliability under load are the daily engineering reality.

And to be clear on scope: this is not a crypto-only shop. The platform spans cryptocurrency, CFDs, and foreign exchange, which means the engineering problems come from multiple market structures, liquidity sources, and regulatory contexts, not a single asset class.

The technical landscape

Real-time and low latency. Streaming price data, live order and position updates, WebSocket infrastructure, and the backend services that keep thousands of concurrent sessions in sync with fast-moving markets. You'll think in terms of throughput, backpressure, connection resilience, and what happens when volatility spikes and traffic triples in a minute.

Performance as a product feature. On a trading surface, speed is trust. You'll profile, measure, and optimise across the stack: efficient .NET services on the backend, and React/TypeScript frontends that render live data smoothly without burning the main thread.

Identity and SSO. The authentication layer every trader passes through: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML, session management, and the security posture a regulated financial platform demands. Real trade-offs between security, conversion, and experience.

Headless CMS and the acquisition surface. The public-facing web experience runs on a content-driven architecture serving multiple regions and languages. You'll keep it fast and maintainable: content modelling, edge caching, and clean separation between content and presentation.

Internationalisation and technical SEO. Multi-region routing, i18n/l10n pipelines, structured data, crawlability,



and Core Web Vitals. Global markets mean global infrastructure, and organic acquisition depends on getting the technical layer right.

The stack. Backend APIs and services in .NET. Frontend product work in React and TypeScript. You own what you ship, end-to-end, from design through production and beyond.

What you'll do

- Build and evolve real-time trading experiences across crypto, CFD, and FX products
- Design for low latency and high reliability under genuinely spiky, market-driven load
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction within the squad
- Hold a high bar on code quality and performance, in your own work and in review

What we're looking for

- Strong full-stack capability: solid .NET backend experience plus confident React/TypeScript product work
- Experience with real-time systems: WebSockets, streaming data, event-driven architectures, or comparable low-latency work
- Headless CMS experience and an understanding of performant content-driven architectures
- Multi-region, multi-lingual development: i18n, l10n, and routing strategies
- Deep technical SEO fundamentals
- Valuable engineering instincts: edge cases, failure modes, and maintainability as a matter of course

Nice to have

- Background in trading platforms, fintech, or other high-conversion consumer products
- Familiarity with market data feeds, order management, or execution systems
- Onboarding, identity verification, or KYC flows
- Frontend performance depth: Lighthouse, accessibility, cross-device behaviour
