About the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Subject Matter Expert- Owners Corporation to strengthen the REIV value proposition for Owners Corporation (OC) Managers to grow membership.
Reporting to the General Manager Policy, and Professional Practice, this role will translate legislation, policy and industry developments into practical guidance, training and resources, while also contributing industry expertise to REIV advocacy and member engagement initiatives.
What you'll be doing
Design, develop and deliver practical management training programs that strengthen REIV value proposition for OC Managers.
Develop engaging learning experiences that reflect current legislation, regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
Deliver workshops, webinars and briefings that build capability, confidence and compliance across the sector.
Collaborate with internal teams and committees to drive member engagement, growth and retention.
Promote the value of REIV membership by engaging prospective OC management businesses and industry professionals.
Represent REIV at industry events,
forums and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and raise the profile of REIV services and advocacy.
Contribute market insights and industry intelligence to support OC membership growth, engagement strategies and sector development.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide expert advice on their impact across the sector.
Engage with OC members to identify emerging issues, operational challenges and industry trends.
Provide clear, practical and compliant guidance to members on OC management-related matters.
Respond to member enquiries via the REIV Information Line, email and other communication channels, translating complex legislation into practical advice.
Build trusted relationships with members by delivering high-quality advice, advocacy and professional development.
Contribute to the growth and reputation of REIV through the delivery of valued member services, education and industry leadership.
What you'll bring to the role
Minimum 5 years' experience in an Owners Corporation role.
Strong understanding and practical knowledge of relevant Victorian legislation and regulatory framework.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical guidance.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
Deep experience as an Owners Corporation Manager
Experience developing and/or delivering training will be highly regarded
