What we're looking for:

- Cert III in Communications (essential)




- Mine site experience and strong understanding of operational environments
- HRWL / EWP
- Open Cable Licence
- ELV qualification or equivalent
- QLD CBM & Standard 11 (preferred)
- Experience with P25, Tetra, DMR
- Strong capability in maintaining and troubleshooting fleet management systems, radio networks, and fibre optics
- Sharp analytical skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset

What you'll be doing:

- Work across multiple Bowen Basin sites on critical safety and communications projects
- Install, configure, and maintain fleet management, communication, and smart safety systems, including Collision Avoidance Systems
- Work with leading technologies: CAT Terrain, Modular Mining, Cisco, Cambium, Ubiquiti, Motorola, Tait, DMR, TETRA 2-way systems
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced camera, radar, and sensor technologies
- Perform accurate fibre splicing and network testing to ensure reliable, high-quality connections
- Diagnose technical issues with a safety-first approach
- Collaborate with the team to implement creative technology solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance and system checks to maximise system performance
- Deliver professional technical support to onsite teams and stakeholders
