Why Join Gunabul Homestead?
At Gunabul Homestead, we believe hospitality is about more than serving great food and creating memorable experiences. It’s also about building confidence, creating opportunities and helping people reach their potential.
This role offers the chance to combine hospitality, training, mentoring and community impact in a way that few positions can.
Whether you’re an experienced barista looking to expand into events and training, a hospitality supervisor seeking a more meaningful career path, a disability support worker interested in hospitality, or a trainer looking for a dynamic workplace, we’ll help you build on your strengths while developing new skills across our operation.
If you’re looking for a rewarding and genuinely unique role where you can grow professionally while making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
We’re not necessarily looking for someone who can do everything, we’re looking for great people who can bring their existing skills and enthusiasm to our team.
This role is centred on mentoring and supporting people with disability to build skills, confidence, and pathways to paid employment, through hands-on experience across café, events, and venue operations.
While you’ll have the chance to contribute in your strongest area, we also encourage cross-training and professional development across our venue.
We’re actively building teams across all areas of our business and are seeking people who want to grow with us, develop new skills and be part of something unique.
Working Hours
We operate 7 days per week on a rotating roster.
Operating hours include:
- Open daily from 7:00am
- Sunday to Tuesday: Closing approximately 5:30pm
- Wednesday to Saturday: Extended trading hours,

Flexibility is essential, as shifts vary across departments and operational requirements.
Team members can expect to work a mixture of morning and evening shifts across any given fortnight.
