Learning & Organisational Development Consultant

Our mission since 1989 has been to improve workplace wellbeing and support Australians’ mental health. We provide services such as EAP counselling, critical incident response, onsite and remote support, psychosocial risk management, and tailored wellbeing consultation to help individuals and organisations thrive.
We are seeking a Learning & Organisational Development Consultant to join our Sydney team
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and update training programs, workshops, and e‑learning modules across topics including mental health and wellbeing, psychological safety, psychosocial risk management, leadership capability, crisis response, resilience, workplace culture, and respectful communication.
Deliver engaging virtual and face‑to‑face training sessions, including tailored wellbeing programs and leadership development initiatives for diverse audiences.
Ensure all learning content is evidence‑based, trauma‑informed, aligned with legislation, and grounded in adult‑learning and instructional design best practice.
Collaborate with clinical staff, subject matter experts, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality of training content and delivery.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback analysis, and data insights, using findings to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor emerging workplace trends, research, and industry best practice to maintain contemporary and high‑impact learning solutions.
Partner with Relationship Managers, the Clinical team, and the Learning & Organisational Development team to tailor programs to customer needs and organisational challenges.
Support proposal development, scoping discussions, and recommendations for customer learning solutions.
Manage end‑to‑end learning and development projects, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, reporting, and LMS administration.
Ensure all training activity aligns with privacy, clinical governance, and workplace health and safety requirements, while maintaining accurate training records and documentation.
Contribute to organisational capability frameworks, policies, and broader learning strategies.
What we're looking for
3+ years experience in a similar role.
Tertiary qualification in Psychology.
Organisational Psychology endorsement or working towards endorsement highly desirable.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment highly desirable.
Mental health training accreditation (e.g., MHFA, ASIST, trauma-informed practice) advantageous.
