Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you will take the lead for developing and maintaining the supply chain systems and processes to achieve sustainable claims cost, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.

Overview:

This critical role will provide technical leadership and expertise, manages strategic supplier relationships through review and monitoring performance. This role will drive continuous improvement across assessing and repair operations through to model design and execution.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the assessing and supplier performance across the GT Insurance’s portfolios, including cost, quality, leakage, customer experience and claims cycle time.
- Developing and driving cost control strategies and practices with assessors, repairers and service providers while maintaining service quality and compliance expectations.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance on complex motor claims, assessment quality, repair methodology and escalation matters.




- Monitoring assessor and repairer performance using operational data, file review outcomes, customer insights and commercial metrics.
- Leading strategic repairer, assessor and service provider relationships, including performance reviews, negotiation, issue resolution and improvement planning.
- Supporting compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, codes and authority limits, including appropriate decision-making within delegated authority.
- Identifying and implement improvement opportunities across assessment processes, digital capability, sustainability initiatives and repair network performance.
- Partnering with internal Allianz and GT stakeholders to support portfolio performance, governance, risk and customer outcomes.
- Coaching and supporting team members or functional stakeholders to build technical capability and knowledge to support consistent decision-making.

Skills & Experience:

- Relevant qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spray painter or motor mechanic; or significant motor insurance assessing experience; or completion of relevant vehicle loss assessing units.
- Demonstrated experience managing specialist teams, remote stakeholders or supplier networks.
- Sound current and practical knowledge of the motor repair industry,



including repair techniques, materials, finishes and equipment.
- Good understanding of applicable motor vehicle insurance and repair industry codes, standards and practices.
- Strong record in managing strategic relationships, partnerships and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong decision-making capability and the ability to use data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
