Parramatta, NSW | Building & Construction Disputes | Complex Litigation | Clear Growth Plans
We're looking for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a growing Litigation & Dispute Resolution team based in Parramatta.
This role suits a lawyer with strong general litigation experience who can run matters with a high degree of autonomy and is looking to take on larger, more complex disputes in a team-oriented environment.
The team handles a broad range of matters across commercial litigation, equity disputes, building and construction disputes, regulatory matters and general litigation. Current matters include high-value, complex disputes involving significant discovery processes and multiple stakeholders.
The Role
- Manage litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
- Run commercial, equity, construction and general litigation files
- Appear in court, mediations and negotiations
- Draft pleadings, submissions, affidavits and legal advice
- Work closely with senior lawyers and leadership across complex matters
- Assist in mentoring and developing junior lawyers as the team continues to grow
What They're Looking For
- Approximately 7+ years PAE
- Strong general litigation experience
- Building and construction disputes experience highly regarded
- Ability to manage matters autonomously
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Someone who enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to team culture
They would also consider lawyers looking to step up into a more senior role if they have the right technical capability and attitude.
