Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full‑time role based in Melbourne, VIC. This role is responsible for providing day‑to‑day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management processes, and offboarding activities. The Human Resources Generalist will administer employee benefits, support HR policy implementation, maintain accurate HR records, and assist with compliance with relevant employment legislation and company procedures. The role includes responding to employee inquiries, supporting managers with HR‑related guidance, coordinating training and development activities, and contributing to HR projects that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.



The individual will collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure HR practices align with business objectives and support a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support generalist HR functions across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of HR Policies and employment legislation, with the capability to implement and maintain compliant HR practices.
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including coordinating benefit programs and responding to employee queries.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and support a diverse workforce.
- Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, with attention to detail and proficiency standard office software.
- Experience in logistics, freight, or related industries is advantageous, along with an interest in supporting a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
