We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Bundaberg team.

UHI Machinery is expanding and opening a new branch in Bundaberg, QLD.
We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Bundaberg team.
This is a stable, long-term role in a hands‑on workshop environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working on machinery and wants consistent work with a growing company.
What you’ll be doing
- Service, repair and maintain tractors and other machineries
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues
- Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and machine setup
- Prepare machines for delivery and handover
- Perform routine servicing and fault finding
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop
- Unloading machines and attachments
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic
- Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Experience with tractors, agricultural or construction machinery preferred
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
- A team player and eye on details
- Reliable, hands‑on and takes pride in their work
