As a Senior Manager, Procurement Centre of Excellence, you'll lead the development and execution of our procurement transformation roadmap, governance frameworks and capability strategies. You'll play a critical role in driving continuous improvement, embedding best practice procurement standards, and ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations.

You'll partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Technology and other business areas to deliver strong governance outcomes and meaningful procurement insights. Leading a culture of learning, innovation and operational excellence, you'll help strengthen procurement capabilities across the enterprise while supporting strategic decision-making through reporting, analytics and risk oversight.

This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide procurement practices, uplift capability, and help build a scalable operating model that delivers value for members and the organisation.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane or Sydney.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

- Lead the development and execution of procurement strategy, governance frameworks, policies and operating standards.
- Drive procurement transformation, continuous improvement, automation and digitisation initiatives.
- Oversee procurement risk management and third-party risk management practices across the supplier lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Technology.
- Deliver procurement reporting, analytics and strategic insights to executive leadership and governance forums.




- Lead capability uplift initiatives and develop training programs that strengthen procurement knowledge across the business.
- Champion best practice procurement processes, tools and frameworks that support operational excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for enterprise procurement matters and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have significant experience leading procurement strategy, transformation and governance within a complex organisation.
- Your understanding of procurement risk management and third-party risk management frameworks is highly developed.
- You'll bring strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards, particularly CPS 230 and its practical application.
- You're experienced in partnering with senior stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Technology functions.
- You hold a degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Law or a related discipline.
- Your experience includes leading teams, capability uplift programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You'll have strong analytical skills with experience in procurement reporting, data insights and performance measurement.




- You're confident designing and delivering training and knowledge-sharing programs that build organisational capability.
