· Salary: $154,571 - $166,062 p.a. plus superannuation

· Location: Spring Street and Blackburn Offices The Role The primary purpose of the position of the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is to be responsible for the management of contemporary recruitment operations and developing and implementing best practice talent acquisition strategies, policies and methods to ensure a pipeline of operational and corporate talent is available to meet the organisation's current and future resourcing needs. Including responsibility for the internal operational promotions advertising, pre-entry screening process, assisting with interview panels and various assessments as the HR steward of the process Functional Accountabilities:

· Provide strategic, evidence-based talent acquisition advice to executives, influence key decisions, and build strong partnerships across government and emergency services.

· Lead recruitment strategy in a highly unionised environment, adapting to Victorian government priorities, driving change, and representing organisational interests externally.

· Manage firefighter recruitment programs, harmonising policies and processes while collaborating with emergency service partners to maintain organisational standards.

· Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition Team, fostering high performance, collaboration, capability growth, and exceptional recruitment service delivery.

· Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, providing expert guidance on recruitment, workforce planning, staffing, and people management matters.

· Develop and deliver end-to-end talent acquisition strategies, leading large-scale recruitment campaigns that strengthen diversity, talent pipelines, and candidate experience.

· Drive contemporary recruitment practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and innovative talent attraction approaches aligned with organisational objectives and workforce needs.

· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant function of Human Resources (Masters preferred)

· Extensive experience in contemporary talent acquisition.

· Proven track record in building strong, constructive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

· Excellent leadership, management and team development skills with a proven ability to continuously motivate and develop high performing teams.





· Proven track record in negotiating team-oriented outcomes that meet strategic objectives.
