Cheapa Car Rental is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Panel Beater to join our growing automotive team in Sydney.
We operate a large rental vehicle fleet and require a reliable professional who can complete high-quality body repairs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair accident-damaged vehicle panels and bodywork
- Remove, repair, replace and refit damaged panels
- Carry out chassis and structural repairs where required
- Perform panel straightening, welding, cutting and fabrication
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional damage
- Prepare vehicles for painting
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure workshop
- Work closely with mechanics, spray painters and the fleet operations team
Requirements
- Extensive professional panel-beating experience
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
- Experience repairing different makes and models
- Excellent welding, panel replacement and metal-finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage repair timelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Relevant trade qualification is highly preferred
- Previous experience with fleet or insurance repairs is an advantage
