Want to be part of it?What we offer- Fixed Term, Full Time opportunity based from Sale or Bairnsdale- Contribute to community safety by applying practices that reduce reoffending- Salary range: $100,894 - $114,476 plus superannuationAbout the roleSenior Parole Officers (SPOs) deliver quality case management to a complex caseload of the highest priority individuals on parole — those who have committed serious sex offences or serious violent offences — under correctional supervision.

SPOs work autonomously and ensure that parole supervision is managed in line with the Corrections Victoria Offender Management Framework. This role can be based from Sale or Bairnsdale,



with travel across the Gippsland region and some standby roster participation as needed.Key responsibilities- Effectively manage a complex caseload of individuals on Parole Orders- Apply sound professional judgment in ongoing risk assessment to prioritise community safety- Interview, assess, refer, and direct prisoners on parole to attend programs, including specialized services and treatment programs- Prepare and coordinate high-quality reports to external and internal stakeholders, including complex correspondence and briefings- Install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment and conduct home visitsAbout you- Knowledge of best practice case management frameworks and concepts to reduce risk and maximise outcomes- Confidently express opinions and listen when ideas are challenged- Adapt to changing priorities- Demonstrate accountability and inclusivity across diverse backgrounds- Resolve issues through understanding and interpretation of guidelines- Empathise with stakeholders to understand motivations, needs, and expectationsAdditional information- Contact: Ian Webb - Manager Court Practice/Principal Practitioner — 0429 346 130 or [email protected] How to apply: Click the Apply button.
