Cuttable

Melbourne

Cuttable exists because production shouldn’t be what slows marketing teams down.

The world’s biggest advertising platforms demand more ads than most teams can produce. But production is still slow, expensive and built for a different era. Briefs pile up. Creative teams burn out. Marketers can’t keep up.

Cuttable fixes that.

We’re an AI Creative Production System that helps ecommerce brands create, test and launch ads across Meta, TikTok and Google at the volume the platforms actually reward. More than 300 brands across North America and Asia Pacific already use Cuttable. We're backed by Square Peg, Rampersand and AirTree, following one of the largest seed rounds in Australian tech history.

Offices in Melbourne and New York. Our CEO and co-founder, Sam Kroonenburg, has built and scaled a global technology company before. Now we’re doing it again.

Join us and help make good ads, instantly.

Role Overview:

Most performance marketers run Meta ads. You'd run Meta at the company whose entire platform exists to make positive ads, instantly. Our Head of Marketing has been running paid solo, this role takes it off him.

This is a deep, narrow role, not a broad one. You'll own paid acquisition and everything that happens after the click, globally. Not brand, not content, not lifecycle, not events. If you want to spend your days in Ads Manager, deep in creative analytics, refining workflows with AI, in the numbers and in landing page tests, lets talk.

Location: Melbourne

Salary: AUD $130–145K inc super, plus equity

What you'll own

- The Meta account, hands-on keys — structure, budget, CBO/ABO, Advantage+, creative testing,

account hygiene. Run by you, not an agency.
- Post-click conversion — you ship landing pages yourself, run the tests and read the results
- Clean measurement — CAC, CPL, CPA, ROAS, incrementality, UTM discipline, GA4, HubSpot
- The creative loop — turning account performance into briefs the content team can act on, then closing the loop when results come back
- Paid, globally — APAC and North America now, new markets as the demand appears

What we're looking for

- You've personally spent $100K+/month in Meta. Not briefed an agency to do it (although you might be working in one!) you were the hands in the account. You can talk about attribution windows, placement breakdowns and incrementality the way other people talk about the weather (it's OK, you'll be the life of the party here). 4+ years doing that.
- CRO is craft you already own. You ship new pages, run tests and read results yourself.
- A data-led eye for creative. Creative drives most of Meta performance, and we live it, 270,000+ ads made on Cuttable since launch. This isn't a creative strategist seat and you won't be making the work (although it's easy to with Cuttable), but if you can only optimise what someone else hands you, you'll find this frustrating.

- You've actually changed how you work with AI. Not "interested in AI" - tooling you've genuinely built into your workflow. You'll also be one of the heaviest users of Cuttable itself, and your feedback goes straight to product.
- You understand SaaS marketing. Demos, longer cycles, ACV, and the gap between a lead and an opportunity.

This probably isn't for you if

- Your paid experience has mainly been briefing and managing an agency
- You've led a marketing function and want to keep leading one, this is an individual contributor seat with no direct reports
- CRO for you has meant briefing a website rebuild rather than shipping new pages and reading tests

Working with the US An early start once or twice a week and occasional out-of-hours around launches, Melbourne early mornings line up with New York afternoons. We're flexible in return, but if a fixed 9–5 matters to you, this will grate.

How to apply: please email; don't use the apply button.

Email [email protected] with two things:

1. The largest monthly Meta budget you've personally managed, and one metric you moved in the last three months — roughly where it started, where it ended up (not looking for sensitive numbers, can be ballparks) and what you did that drove the change.
2. Pick any ad in the Meta Ad Library from a DTC or SaaS brand spending real money. Tell me what you think they're trying to drive with that creative, whether you think it's working, and what you'd test against it.

No cover letter needed. I'd rather read your thinking than your CV.
