Job Description

Revenite Pty Ltd Responsibilities Work with clients, users and technical teams to identify and document business and ICT requirements, analyse existing business processes and systems, and develop functional specifications and implementation plans for Microsoft data, analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Essential Skills Strong stakeholder consultation, workshop facilitation, interviewing and requirements elicitation skills.

Ability to analyse business processes, information flows and ICT systems and identify inefficiencies, deficiencies and functional gaps. Ability to translate business needs into clear, complete and testable functional and system specifications. Proficiency in business process modelling, data modelling, requirements traceability, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Capability to develop implementation plans and support the delivery of ICT and data solutions from requirements through to deployment. Experience preparing and implementing system test plans and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and integrity. Ability to act as a central point of reference between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams and support informed project decision‑making.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capability, with careful attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional client‑facing and technical documentation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, SQL, data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes and data visualisation concepts.

Ability to manage competing priorities, project dependencies and stakeholder expectations in a consulting environment. Ability to provide user guidance, prepare training documentation and support business adoption of newly implemented systems and processes.

Task & responsibilities

Main Duties

Consult with clients, business users and key stakeholders to identify, clarify and document business needs, user requirements,



system objectives and expected outcomes. Investigate and analyse existing business processes, procedures, work practices, information flows and ICT systems to identify inefficiencies, limitations, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews and discovery sessions, translating business needs into clear business requirements, user stories, use cases, process maps and acceptance criteria. Develop functional specifications and system requirements for use by data engineers, developers, solution architects and other technical delivery personnel. Use business process modelling, data modelling and requirements analysis techniques to produce transparent specifications for Microsoft data, analytics, reporting and business intelligence solutions.

Evaluate proposed system functionality and recommend practical improvements to business processes, system behaviour, reporting capability and user experience. Act as the key liaison between clients, business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle, providing guidance and maintaining traceability between requirements, design, development and delivery. Assist with project planning by defining scope, deliverables, priorities, dependencies, resource requirements, implementation activities and project risks.

Prepare, coordinate and execute functional testing, system testing and user acceptance testing, including test plans, test cases, defect management and validation against agreed requirements. Support the deployment and implementation of functional solutions, including data validation, change readiness, user guidance, training materials and post‑implementation review. Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process documentation,



user guides, training materials and operational procedures.

Provide ongoing advice and support to clients regarding solution enhancements, system improvements and the effective use of Microsoft data and analytics platforms.

Qualification & experience

Qualifications and Experience Required A relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in ICT business analysis, preferably within data, analytics, business intelligence or information management projects.

Demonstrated experience eliciting, analysing, validating and documenting business and system requirements in a consulting or client‑facing environment. Experience preparing functional specifications, user stories, process maps, data requirements, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability documentation. Experience working across the ICT project lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, solution design, testing, implementation and post‑deployment support.

Practical experience with Microsoft data and analytics technologies, including Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, SQL‑based platforms or related tools. Experience in enterprise business intelligence, analytics, information management, data warehousing or data transformation projects. Experience using recognised project delivery and analysis methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.
