We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our growing kitchen team in Dubbo, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment while delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness, quality, and consistency.
- Regulate and monitor the temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to ensure safe and efficient food preparation.
- Season, portion, garnish, and plate meals to maintain presentation and quality standards.
- Store food appropriately in temperature-controlled facilities and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary requirements and customer preferences where required.
- Assist with menu planning, estimating food requirements, and minimising food waste.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene,



and workplace cleanliness in accordance with Australian regulations.
- Support the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Skills & Experience

- Relevant qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with a robust commitment to customer satisfaction.

Salary: $80,000 –$85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
